American Art

interesting question. at a minimum, change in popular subject matter from royal/aristocrotic portraits, classical themes to more popular and political subjects, maybe more realism vs ideal styles.

Jazz is a music genre that originated at the beginning of the 20th century in African American communities in the Southern United States from a confluence of African and European music traditions.

I don’t think it is. At least not the Maya, Aztec and Inca stuff. In the US/Canada part of America a lot were destroyed and the colonists had little interest in the art of the people they hated (mostly) and their ancesters still live there.

only if native americans are actively involved in art programs
