You can use counters to display pieces in a flat higher position this counter can be set in the center of the room, divided in two, for displaying pieces facing both sides. This could make circulation easier around the counter, if you have enough space counters could be placed to create a circut. (more…)

Begin with the frame. Make it out of framing lumber (2X4’s) with footers to make it level and sturdy. Make the distance between studs the same width as a sheet of pegboard. Then fasten the pegboard to eah side and Voila! you have two sides done.

white of course, although some feel that a neutral gray also works. many galleries are simple pure white with another wall painted gray

the main thing is to make the walls fade away as much as possible and feature the art. Same for the hardware that hangs the pieces

Bio:
Born and raised in Michigan, Susan Guy saw Wyoming for the first time in 1991 when she traveled to Yellowstone on vacation with her husband. She fell in love with the light and color of the West and since then has made it the subject of her paintings.
